Boarding in Our Home - If you have one pet, we charge $18 per day. If you have two or more pets, we charge $17 per pet, pet day. We charge forany part of the day, and per pet. This means that you pay for the day you drop offas well as the day you pick up, and every day in between, regardless of your drop-off or pick-up time.WE DO ALLOW you to pick up your pets until 9 p.m. at night, including Sundays, at no extra charge. This is not written in stone, so if your plane is delayed, or something, and you have to come after 9 p.m., JUST GIVE US A CALL. WE DO NOT ALLOW DROP-OFF'S OR PICK-UP'S ON THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS DAY, OR NEW YEARS DAY. This is our family time, as it is yours...if, however, you have an emergency, we will accommodate you in whatever way we can - holiday or not!
The cut-off time for dropping off your dogs the day BEFORE one of these holidays is 4 p.m., unless you have made previous arrangements. We know there may be extenuating circumstances, so please just call us if you have some special needs, and we will try to accommodate you. NOTE:Please remember that this is our home, and we run errands; take care of pets outside of our home; have things to do; people to see; places to go, etc., just like you do -so, it is important that you get here when you say you will. If you say you will be here at 10:30 a.m., please don't just assume it's OK to come somewhere around noon (big smile). When you call and say you're on your way, please don't assume it's OK to just stop and have dinner, or go shopping...we are waiting for you - and someone's pets are waiting for us.
We schedule our outside pet-sitting visits around your drop-off and pick-up times...so, if you are 45 minutes late, then somewhere, a pet is crossing their legs. And, last, but not least, YOU MUST call before you come to drop off or pick up your dogs...andIF WE DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE - PLEASE DON'T JUST LEAVE A MESSAGE AND COME ANYWAY BECAUSE WE MAY NOT BE HOME!We might have had an emergency or had somewhere else to be outside of our control. You can always call Pat's cell phone at 678-333-3130 or Pam's cell phone, 770-634-4527. We really appreciate your cooperation in this matter. FYI - We have not had any flea issues here in nearly 20 years because we diligently keep our pets and our yard treated. The only time we have seen fleas is when boarding pets have brought them here - so,please be sure your pet is on a flea preventative before bringing them to our home. We do have squirrels in our yard, and they carry fleas that your pet could pick up, unless protected. Also, remember that Sentinel does NOT kill fleas - it merely keeps flea eggs from hatching...so, while it will definitely loweryour flea population over time, your pet can still pick up fleas, and bring them into your home, or ours. And there are certain times of the year and certain weather conditions that can really get those little buggers moving...please check with your vet to see what is appropriate for your pet.
